We’re making progress. All the plants are being chosen by Tammy to attract butterflies, bees and similar pollinators. The lower garden (a shade garden) is designed to be a refuge for birds with fresh water and open dirt for bathing. Tammy I’m sure will create a more in depth entry on our progress and hopefully at the end we can do a real nice before and after comparison.

That’s beautiful. I love gardening… something I miss in apartment living. Hopefully next year I’ll get something nice going in the front yard of my townhouse. I’ve just gotten permission to plant what I want. I don’t have much space, but can’t wait to learn about plants that do well in this area. Last big gardening effort was in Buffalo, so this is a whole new ball game!

And then I looked at all the pic’s you posted on Flickr showing the garden progress! Wow!! It has changed even more from when we there just two months ago!!
