Holy Cow! We were hoping to here from ya’ll and thought you were supposed to be back this week, but that was not what we wanted to hear!
Glad to hear the treatment (hospital and hotel) was(is) excellent!!

As for me, while the meds are in effect Tammy and Johann are taking me to my classes. I am wrapping up all the loose end classes to make sure I can graduate. It’s going to be a hectic semester, and of course I have the petition for graduate support to make on the 16th at 9:30am in Hartford followed by the second surgery at 3:15pm in New Haven. Oi!

What are you trying to do–follow your mother? She had surgery a week ago today at the Nairobi Hospital for a broken ankle at Samburu, Kenya–had to fly from there to Nairobi in a small plane–no wheel chair ride!
She successfully came through the surgery–pins in her ankle–no weight on her left foot for 4 months! We are managing on–presently at Masai Mara, Kenya, she is well taken care of by the staff at the hotel! Should get home Saturday night.
Hope you are doing better!!

Great photos of the caterpillar. You’ll have a great series if you can raise him through his adult-hood!
