Eclectic Echoes

I just had to renew my driver’s license. That’s never happened to me before. It’s no big deal. We went yesterday and we were in and out in about 30 minutes, but it felt strange. I’ve held licenses in multiple states, but I’ve never lived in a place long enough to have to renew my driver’s license before.

Eric will have to renew his after the holidays. He had to stop and think about it too, but said the same thing. It did feel strange. Now we can say we’ve done that too. It also means we’ve been here too long and it’s time to move. I told him I’ve had the 3 year itch for over a year now. He said half joking, half serious that that settles it. We have to move now!
